Welcome the new webmaster!
I wanted to let you all know that there is going to be a new webmaster
for suntaijiquan.com and eastmountaintaiji.com. Due to my professional
commitments, I no longer have the time to give the web sites the
attention that I feel they deserve. When Master Sun told me that there
was a gentleman who was willing to help our school as webmaster, a man
with both the talent and desire, I thought it best for all involved that
I step down. So as of last night I passed the torch along to the new
webmaster...
It has been an honor and a privilege to serve Master Sun and you as your
webmaster. Since I started the initial site, suntaijiquan.com, we have
come a long way. Our first month we only had 4 hits! Master Sun,
Dominic, Kathy and little old me... In our busiest month we had over
18000 hits to the entire site. As you can see from the counter, over
10000 people have visited the main page alone. We have come a long way
and with the cooperative links to smmsusa.org and our additional
contacts around the world through Professor Men, Professor Kan and the
DongYue Taijiquan Association, the site will certainly continue to grow
from here.
I wanted to thank Master Sun for this opportunity to serve and his
support and patience along the way. Thanks to Dominic for getting the
ball rolling on suntaijiquan website. A very special thank you to Kathy
for putting in countless hours behind the scenes to make the site better
and better as we went along and thank you to each and every one of you
for using the site and offering feedback. You certainly helped me
support our school. I could not have done it without you all! THANK YOU!
Please show your new webmaster, Carlos, the same amount of support that
you have shown me so that together we can take the school to the next
level. I will be available to Carlos to ease the transition as he takes
over both websites but he is now your webmaster. Congratulations Carlos,
it is truly an honor...
As a special "thank you" to you for all your help and support during my
time as webmaster I wanted to leave you with my personal favorite from
the website archives... Thank you all! -- Ted
