Calendar of Upcoming events (January through April 2006):

 

  • Dong Yue Board Meeting – Sunday, February 12th, at 12:30 – 1:30 at the Lorelton

 

  • Chinese New Year and Welcome Back Party – Sunday February 12th, at 2 – 5 p.m. at the Lorelton.  Celebrate the Year of the Dog and welcome back Master Sun and students from their study trip to China.  All are welcome to join the forms demos.  Light refreshments will be served.

 

  • Fourth Annual Taiji Videos Night – Tuesday, March 28th, 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. at the Lorelton, TV room

 

Dong Yue Weekend:

  • U. S. Dong Yue Taijiquan Association Annual Meeting – Friday, April 7th , at 8:00 – 9:00 p.m., location TBA.  Open to all members and guests.  Members are urged to bring their ideas, suggestions, and concerns for discussion with the Board of Directors.

 

  • Dong Yue Workshops:  Friday, April 7th through Sunday, April 9th – Location TBA.  Highlights include review of all Dong Yue forms, as well as forms correction of the 8 and 16 forms with Master Sun.  [Dong Yue Forms Certification?]

 

  • U.S. Dong Yue Taijiquan Friendship Demos and Banquet – Saturday, April 8th,  2006, 5 - 9 p.m.  Location TBA – Demonstrations of  Dong Yue and other Taiji forms, Bagua, Xing Yi, and Kung Fu forms by Association members and guests, followed by a buffet-style banquet.

 

  • World Tai Chi Day – Saturday, April 29th  Sun Taiji School, Dong Yue Taijiquan Association and SMMS will demonstrate forms at the U of D campus.  Time TBA
